Richard Daniell appointed as managing director of Teva UK

Richard Daniell has been appointed as managing director for Teva UK, and will be responsible for all Teva’s commercial activities in the country.
Daniell, 44, has much experience in the pharma industry and spent two decades working within Teva’s group companies and has held the role of commercial operations officer since 2009.
He will take over from Dipankar Bhattacharjee, previous head of Teva in the UK, who has been promoted within Teva to a wider European role.
Daniell said: “I’m excited about driving the future and vision of Teva in the UK. We want to keep growing, and keep serving our customers well, and I’m confident we can do both of those things with the talented people we have in our team.
“I’m delighted to be leading such a forward-thinking organisation and I’m proud to be at the helm of one of the UK’s leading pharmaceutical companies.”
