London-based healthcare communications consultancy Red Door has boosted its consumer health division with two senior appointments.
Rachel Vrettos has returned from maternity leave to become head of consumer health and Vicky Lygoe (pictured) has joined as a senior account manager.
Rachel has been with Red Door for over seven years, during which time she worked on a number of big brand campaigns and several patient education campaigns, including the `SortED in 10 campaign’ for Bayer Schering Pharma.
Meanwhile Vicky joins the agency from Edelman JCPR, where she ran the Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Acuvue business and the Seven Seas VMS portfolio.
Red Door’s chief executive Catherine Warne said: “We are delighted to have Rachel leading the Consumer Health division. She is a highly motivated and dynamic member of our management team with a proven track record in delivering excellence in consumer health and patient education programmes.
“And we are thrilled that Vicky has joined us to extend and enhance our consumer healthcare offering further and to continue to fulfil her passion for educating consumers about their health needs.”
