
Recipharm appoints general manager for Italian unit

Contract development and manufacturing organisation Recipharm has confirmed that Dr Giorgio Bruno has been appointed general manager of Recipharm Italia.
In this role he will serve as chief executive for all of Recipharm’s Italian operating companies which employ some 257 people at three sites.
Bruno has long established senior management experience from within the pharmaceutical industry, especially in the area of manufacturing.
In particular he has had responsibility for quality and manufacturing at such companies including Parke Davis, AstraZeneca and Corden Pharma.

We are very fortunate to have been able to attract such a competent and highly experienced manager to this important position and I look forward to him bringing his expertise to bear across our Italian operations for which he is now responsible.”
