
PrimeVigilance appoints chief medical officer

Pharmacovigilance and medical services firm PrimeVigilance has appointed Dr Joerg Seebeck as its chief medical officer.
Seebeck is to head the PrimeVigilance medical group and be involved in reviewing reports of adverse reactions, signal detection, contributing to periodic safety update reports, risk management planning and provision of EU Qualified Person for pharmacovigilance services.
Seebeck who will also manage consultancy projects, was most recently head of medical services (North Europe) for a contract research organisation – and prior to that worked for six years at BfArM, the German medicines regulatory authority.

He brings his great experience of pharmacovigilance and the regulatory and services sector to our fast growing medical group and will play an important role with the rest of our team in continuing the growth of PrimeVigilance as a leading provider of global pharmacovigilance and medical information services”
