Novasep appoints new supervisory board chairman

French contract manufacturing firm Novasep has appointed Bernard Dubois to its top management team.

Most recently a consultant, Bernard formerly headed up Aventis’ global industrial operations for the eight years to 2005.

In this role he orchestrated the industrial merger of Hoechst and Rhone-Poulenc and led a pharmaceutical production entity of 19,000 employees.

Prior to this he served as executive VP at Philips Lighting North America was chief executive of pharmaceutical distributor Cooper.

Bernard takes over as chairman of Novasep’s supervisory board from Pietro Stefanutti, who the company said has decided to “allocate most of his time to personal activities” and will contribute to its operations in the Bahamas.
