Life sciences manufacturing firm Novasep has appointed Michel Spagnol as chairman of its supervisory board following the departure of the group’s founder Roger-Marc Nicoud.
Spagnol joined Novasep as its chief executive in June 2013 and has overseen many people moves since then, such as Christian Thiry as chief financial officer, Thierry Van Nieuwenhove as president of its synthesis business unit and the promotion of Nadege Laborde as president of its industrial biotech business.
“I thank Roger Marc for his never-ending enthusiasm and contribution to the group’s development and I have profound respect for what he has achieved,” said Spagnol.
Nicoud added: “Since October 2012, as chairman of Novaseps supervisory board, I have assisted the executive management team in order to ensure that my succession proceeds in the best possible conditions.”
