New partner drives Simon-Kucher’s Life Sciences growth in the UK

The global strategy and marketing consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners has appointed eleven new partners for 2016, with eight of them outside of the German home market.

This raises the total number of partners to eighty-three. Among the newly-elected executives is Dr Marc Matar, who leads the consultancy’s thriving Life Sciences practice in the UK. 

Since joining the London office, Dr Matar has worked to expand the company’s UK pharmaceutical and biotech activities. Prior to this, he spent eight year’s working in Simon-Kucher’s Paris office. As a specialist in strategic pharmaceutical marketing, market entry strategies, product lifecycle strategies and market access and pricing for the healthcare industry, he advises leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies across a wide range of therapeutic areas in all major healthcare markets. He is a regular speaker at international healthcare conferences. 

Dr Matar holds a Medical Doctor degree from Saint Joseph University – Lebanon, and a Masters in Marketing and Strategy from the ESCP Europe Business School in Paris.

With the international mix of newly elected executives, the consultancy follows its ambitious growth strategy.
