Alberto Martinez has joined Napp Pharmaceuticals in the UK as its new managing director, taking over the role from Dietmar Leitner.
Martinez has worked in the pharma industry for more than 12 years, most recently as general manager of Mundipharma Pharmaceuticals in Spain.
Having begun his career as a sales representative with Janssen, Martinez joins the company as it prepares to enter the biologics market with the launch of a biosimilar medicine early next year.
He says: “It is a unique opportunity and privilege to join Napp as its new managing director. Napp has accomplished much over the years and clearly continues to succeed and grow as the healthcare landscape changes. I am committed to ensuring that Napp remains ambitious and agile so that we move from strength to strength in the years to come.”
It’s also important to me that Napp remains a company with strong values that empower our people to take individual responsibility to overcome challenges and deliver on our promises. I am excited to be a part of Napp’s ongoing success story.”
