New head at European Medicines Agency

The European Medicines Agency has appointed Agneta Brandt as the new head of Infrastructure Services.
Brandt joins the Agency from a position as managing director of Arken, a large conference centre in Sweden. She has over 20 years of experience in property management in both private and public-sector organisations.
A Swedish national, she has qualifications in engineering, surveying and property economics, and a Master of Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics.
The role of the Infrastructure Services Sector is to ensure a safe and efficient working environment for the Agency’s staff, delegates and visitors. The Sector is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Agency, including reception, security, archives, mail room and catering. Business continuity and environmental management initiatives are also the responsibility of Sector, as is the organisation of the move of the Agency to new premises in 2014.
