
MSD UK appoints Jessica Fine as executive director of external affairs

MSD has appointed former Lexington Health boss Jessica Fine to lead its external affairs team in the UK from April 2016, replacing Kate Tillett who retires early next year.
Jessica will be joining MSD from the senior management team of Lexington Communications, where she held the role of head of Lexington Health. In this role, Jessica led the health arm of the business to deliver strategic counsel to a range of organisations and providers across the healthcare sector, developing policy campaigns to affect change and providing thought leadership and commentary on healthcare policy and wider political developments.
Jessica’s remit at MSD will cover public affairs, policy and therapy area communications, external and internal communications. Mike Nally, the managing director of MSD in the UK, says: “Jessica has a wealth of experience and expertise in healthcare communications and I’m looking forward welcoming Jessica and the leadership qualities that I know she will bring to this role.”
