US healthcare performance firm Medical Simulation Corporation has confirmed the appointment of Mary Beth Loesch as its president and chief executive.
Loesch takes 28 years of industry experience to the firm having joined MSC in 2013 as executive VP of Corporate Development and Healthcare. Previously, Loesch served as senior VP of Business Development and Marketing for StarTek, a publicly-traded global business processing outsourcing firm.
She has provided senior executive leadership to a variety of private equity-backed firms and takes a range of specialties to MSC, including executing corporate strategy, business development, international expansion, as well as marketing and operations.
Loesch succeeds Bill Younkes after 14 years at the helm of the company. “We could not find a more capable executive to lead MSC in its next phase of growth,” adds Younkes. “Mary Beth’s experience and talent in leading innovative and rapidly-growing organisations will support MSC’s mission to advance clinical quality and patient safety in hospitals across the US.”
