Maetrics has confirmed that Steve Cottrell, previously its vice president of sales, will now assume the role of president at the US life sciences consulting company.
Cottrell joined Indianapolis-based Maetrics in 2013, and prior to that served in executive positions at DOCS, a division of the global clinical research organisation ICON; i3 Research, a division of United Health; as well as inVentiv Health and AAI Pharma.
“We are fortunate to have a proven leader of Steve’s caliber and experience to be our president,” says George Huntley, chief operating officer for Theoris Group, parent company of Maetrics.
“Since joining the firm in 2013, he has helped shape our go to market strategy and lead our business development efforts. He is a hands-on leader with over 25 years serving clients in the life sciences industry worldwide.”
“I am excited to serve this dynamic organisation as president,” adds Cottrell. “Maetrics is uniquely positioned to be the leading provider of enterprise quality and compliance services on an international scale. I look forward to working with our excellent leadership team and our talented employees across the globe as we deliver high quality results to our global client base for years to come.”
