
Kris Westelinck appointed president of Pfizer Belgium

Pfizer Belgium has promoted Kris Westelinck to the role of president.
Kris was previously managing director and head of Pfizer’s oncology business unit for Belgium and Luxembourg.
During his 32-year pharmaceutical career he also served at Sandoz and Warner Lambert, and initially spent five years in general medical practice.
Pfizer Belgium has also appointed former MSD Belgium-Luxembourg managing director Jan van Acker as vice president.
He joined Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD) in 1998 and prior to this worked as a consultant at Arthur D Little before spending five years at Lilly.
