
inVentiv appoints former Quintiles man Mark Archer

Pharma consultants inVentiv Health has appointed Mark as its new senior vice president of European operations and development for inVentiv Health Commercial.
This segment of the business provides sales, marketing, communications and patient outcome services to a variety of life science companies.
Archer will lead the company’s efforts to broaden its commercial operations in Europe, as well as identify and support new business opportunities in the region.
Based in London, Archer will work closely with inVentiv Health Communications/Europe to manage opportunities for integrated solutions across inVentiv Health Commercial.
Archer brings over 24 years of experience in biopharmaceutical commercialisation to inVentiv.
Prior to joining the company, Archer served as vice president of global business development at Quintiles.
In addition, Archer held several executive positions at Sanofi-Aventis in Europe, including vice president of Alliance Management.
Archer also served in marketing and sales positions at Roche and Merck in the UK.
