Interlace expands editorial and client services teams

Interlace Global Group has appointed eight new members of staff to its editorial and client services teams after winning five global accounts.
The new starters will work for the Tunbridge Wells, UK-based group’s twin companies Wells Healthcare and Interlace Global Communications.
Isobel Strang, Julianna Solomons and Sandra Boswell have been appointed as medical writers.
Isobel was previously a senior scientist with AstraZeneca, focussing on behavioural approaches to the study of CNS adverse effects; Julianna has a background in HIV research; and Sandra most recently worked as a clinical immunologist in an NHS diagnostic laboratory and undertook postdoctoral research at University College London.
Interlace has also appointed Raj Jangra as account director and Becky Butlin, Rajeeb Bilkhu (pictured), Emma Shapiro and Jemma White as assistant account managers.
Raj has over 10 years’ experience in tactical and strategic health care communications, working alongside major pharmaceutical companies to deliver campaigns at national, international and global levels.
Becky has a first class honours degree in physiology from the University of Bristol, where she specialised in neuroscience in her final year.
Rajeeb trained as a pharmacologist with an MSc in pharmacology from the University of Bristol and worked for Pfizer for 12 months as part of her degree within formulation, specialising in inhalation devices.
Emma has an honours degree in medical science from the University of Birmingham and undertook work placement at Merck Sharp & Dohme.
Jemma has a BSc in chemistry, a MRes in biomolecular science from the University of York and a PhD from the University of Edinburgh. A thorough training in biomolecular science was followed by three years at Novacta Biosystems as a senior research scientist.
