
INC Research promotes industry veteran

Clinical research organisation (CRO) INC Research has promoted Jonathan Shough to the position of chief information officer.
In this role Shough is to lead INC Research’s information technology strategy. He previously served as its VP of IT operations and brings more than 20 years of experience in the planning, design, implementation and administration of IT and telecoms network systems.
Shough held several senior leadership positions in global telecommunications and commercial banking firms. He is a former president of the North Carolina Telecommunications Association (NCTA) and served as a member of the technical advisory board for Cisco Systems.
His previous experience also includes IT leadership roles with CROs including Quintiles, where he served as executive director of IT client development.
