
Huntingdon and Harlan names corporate marketing VP

UK’s Huntingdon Life Sciences and Harlan Laboratories has appointed Dr Joseph Bedford to serve as corporate vice president of global strategic marketing.
Bedford’s responsibilities in this newly-created role will include global marketing, business intelligence, strategic planning and aspects of corporate development.
He will head a team of 19 staff and becomes a member of the firm’s executive leadership team. Prior to joining Huntingdon and Harlan, Bedford served as VP of global marketing at Taconic Biosciences.
His other experience include stints with Covance and the Almac Group covering a 12- year period.
Dr Adrian Hardy who is chief operating officer at Huntingdon and Harlan, says: “We are delighted that Joe has joined the organisation. This is an especially important time for us as we continue to develop the combined, integrated brand of the two companies.
“Joe’s strong expertise in strategic marketing across both the CRS and RMS CRO space will prove to be a great asset to the organisation, and he brings an experienced new voice to the team.”
