HPI strengthens healthcare and pharma presence with new hire

HPI has strengthened its presence in the healthcare and pharma sectors with the appointment of Marianne MacDonell.
She will head up the specialist division, integrating healthcare and pharma experience with HPI, which focuses on brand and communication research.
Marianne said: “I am really delighted to be joining HPI. The intention is to combine HPI’s strong branding and communication heritage with pharmaceutical expertise that will benefit our healthcare clients by helping them to discover more about their key customer groups.”
HPI already undertakes research in the sector for clients such as Simply Health, Medikidz and Periproducts.
Previously with Kantar Health, MacDonell brings a wealth of experience gained from senior industry and agency roles, and from working for a range of clients including, Nycomed, Takeda, Novartis and Merck Serono.
HPI’s managing partner Juliet Strachan, said: “This is an exciting move for HPI. Strategically, we feel there is a great opportunity for us to further develop our healthcare offer founded on our brand and communications heritage.”
