Guy Blomfield joins Alliance Medical Group

European diagnostic imaging company Alliance Medical Group has appointed Guy Blomfield as group chief operating officer.
He joins from from General Healthcare Group (GHG) and Alliance said his arrival would further cements a strategic partnership between the two companies.
Alliance chief executive Philippe Houssiau said: “I am delighted to welcome Guy to Alliance Medical at a really exciting time for the business. He brings a wealth of experience and a shared ambition to drive forward the growth of the company. His appointment also reinforces our strategic relationship with GHG.”
Adrian Fawcett, chief executive of GHG Group, said: “We already have the makings of a strong working partnership with Alliance Medical as we roll out a further seven fixed complex imaging sites with them in our estate and I am hoping we can see this go further.
“We look forward to working closely with Alliance to further enhance the diagnostic service and provision we can offer to our respective customers and to pass on the benefits of our national network accordingly. I wish Guy every success with his new company.”
Guy spent four years as commercial and strategy director at GHG Group, prior to which he was on the board of Oasis Healthcare.
