Gifthealth appoints Chip Parkinson as CEO to lead next phase of growth

Gifthealth, a technology-driven pharmacy care company, has appointed Chip Parkinson as its new chief executive officer. The move marks a strategic step in accelerating the company’s mission to improve prescription efficiency and accessibility through its digital platform.

Parkinson brings over three decades of leadership experience across biotech, pharmacy benefit management, diagnostics and pharma industries. Most recently, he served as chief operations officer of health strategy at LLC, advising health plans and large employers. At Myriad Genetics, he acted as executive vice president of strategy and innovation. Also, he was president of OmedaRx and MedSavvy at Cambia Health Solutions, where he managed pharmacy operations.

“Chip’s experience as a go-to-market leader and subject matter expert will be invaluable,” said Neil Vangala, managing director at Eir Partners, a private equity company partnered with Gifthealth.
