Gary Lyons appointed as EVP medical affairs of Coronado Research

Coronado Research, a UK-based consultancy-led organisation, has announced that it has appointed Gary Lyons as executive vice president (EVP) for medical affairs.

Lyons is a medical affairs leader, with experience in senior positions in pharmaceutical, consultancy and agency sectors. He has worked on developing medical communication services locally and globally.

His previous positions include chief transformation officer of medical affairs at Avalere Health, head of strategy at Fishawack Health (now Avalere Health), as well as head of client services at Nucleus Global. Additionally, Lyons has worked at Chameleon Communications International and Prime Global.

Chief executive officer of Coronado Research, Andrew MacGarvey, commented on the appointment: “Gary brings a passion and wealth of knowledge for transforming medical affairs… His focus on bringing teams together cross-functionally will enable us to realise truly integrated delivery solutions for our clients where medical affairs can play a key role.”
