Gareth Thurston joins Cello Health Consulting

Cello Health has appointed Gareth Thurston as a consultant following his prior experience in pharmaceutical marketing.

Gareth has over 20 years’ experience in senior roles in a number of pharma companies. His most recent post was at Novartis, where he spent seven years in various roles, including brand lead for opthalmology and head of marketing for the company’s leading brand.  Prior to this he spent seven years at Gilead, as well as spells at Vidamed, Abbott and Astra Pharmaceuticals. Gareth will be based at Cello Health Consulting’s European office in Farnham, UK

Gareth’s key areas of expertise include strategic thinking, leadership and matrix management, and helping cross-functional teams to engage and perform effectively.  He also has an interest in building key opinion leader networks and advocacy, as well as managing change.
