
Former Google head to lead comms for M3

Healthcare information provider M3 has appointed the former head of healthcare at Google as its managing director of communications in Europe.
The company which acquired Doctors.net.uk in 2011, has tasked Jenny Cowderoy to support the launch of M3 in Europe along with the company’s growth plans.
At Google Cowderoy was responsible for thought leadership, business strategy and sales growth, and managed a portfolio of healthcare and FMCG clients including GSK, Novartis, Weightwatchers and Boots.
Prior to Google she was a director of global marketing for GlaxoSmithKline, where she acted as a digital strategy adviser to the executive and global marketing teams.
Dr Tim Ringrose chief executive of M3 Europe, says: “We are delighted to welcome Jenny to M3. She is a highly experienced and influential marketer, who has helped a wealth of multi-national healthcare companies to drive innovation and growth across their businesses through digital communication.”
M3’s European division operates Doctors.net.uk, MDLinx (Europe), Networks in Health, medeConnect and the M3 Global Research Panel, and offers digital services comprising educational campaigns, promotional programmes and market research.
