Everdrone, a provider of autonomous drone systems for use in healthcare and emergency response, has appointed a new board of directors.
The new board brings a variety of expertise across a wide range of sectors. These include aviation, healthcare, commercialisation and financial governance. The company’s new board members are Richard Tejme, Åke Lundén, Mats Sällström and Magnus Hallberg von Geijer, with Ann-Christine Hvittfeldt serving as Chair.
Tejme brings over 25 years of senior leadership experience to the role and is currently Chairman of the Board of Capitainer and Copture, and a board member of Mindler. Lundén is the founder of Benify and Friends Capital and has served on the boards of multiple startup companies.
Sällström (pictured) is co-founder and CEO of Everdrone and has more than two decades of business development, marketing and technical project management experience. Hallberg is Chief Commercial Officer of Everdrone and has held roles at major companies such as GSK and Johnson & Johnson.
Hvittfeldt has a significant background in board work. She served for nine years as a Board Member of the Swedish Transport Agency (LFV) and is currently involved in the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI).
The appointment of a new board will help to drive Everdrone’s ongoing expansion, both in Sweden and across the rest of Europe.
Sällström said: “The new board members will support Everdrone’s next steps to accelerate growth and scale our drone-based solutions to additional regions, healthcare systems and markets.”
He added: “The new board will primarily focus on ensuring access to capital, while prioritising investments in market expansion, R&D and regulatory matters.”
