Garmon-Jones says: “Our members represent a significant proportion of the research-based industry operating in the UK. We share many of the issues that the broader industry faces, however, our European parentage provides EMG members with a common bond and unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities for the UK pharma industry.”

Krumins adds: “Having spent the past 17 years outside the UK in various different countries, I am delighted to have the opportunity of an officer role in the EMG where the direct engagement with peers and other stakeholders will help to strengthen the position of my own organisation in meeting the changing requirements of the NHS.”
