Ensera Design, a healthcare product innovation consultancy, has announced the expansion of its UK leadership team with multiple new appointments.
Maartje Pel (pictured far right) has been appointed as Research and Design Director; Ben Arlett (pictured second from left) has been promoted to Technical Director, and Tamsin Chambers (pictured second from right), who is Head of People, will join the leadership team as part of new global responsibilities.
They will join Vice President of Design and Development, Europe Kerry Briggs (pictured far left) and Operations Director Sam Reeves (pictured middle) on the company’s UK leadership team.
Arlett has worked at Ensera Design for seven years, previously holding the role of Head of Engineering, which will now be taken up by Oliver North. Pel joins Ensera Design from DCA Design International, where she held the role of Industrial Design Lead, Medical & Scientific.
In addition to leadership changes, Ensera’s ongoing expansion includes the launch of its Ensera Design brand in 2025.
“Our rebrand to Ensera Design last year reinforced our focus on supporting clients in bringing better healthcare solutions to life,” Kerry Briggs, vice president of design and development, commented. “These appointments provide strategic representation across the breadth of our expertise, ensuring we continue to evolve in line with our clients’ needs.”
Mike Susi, global head of design and product development, added: “Our strengthened team of leaders in Bristol acknowledges our growth to this point and sets us up for sustainable growth into the future. It creates bandwidth for our leaders to remain committed to our clients and the quality of our work, while also mentoring and developing the next generation of talent, which is critical to our continued success.”
