Doccla, an AI-powered Proactive Care company, has appointed Jonathan Serjeant as Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
Serjeant brings 25 years of experience to the role of CMO, having been a GP and founded NHSCollaborate, Care Unbound (Here) and Medical Imaging Partnership. He is also a part-time UK Senior Advisor at Metadvice, where he leads the UK operations, driving innovation in population health management, introducing predictive capability into medical optimisation of the highest risk patients with long term conditions.
Serjeant’s priority is to bridge the gap between entrepreneurial innovation and clinical integrity, ensuring the company’s virtual hospital model delivers high-quality, safe outcomes at a population level.
Doccla Global Chief Medical Officer Jonathan Serjeant said: “Ultimately, success means fewer people suffering the trauma of a hospital admission when it could have been avoided.
“By becoming a trusted, integrated member of the healthcare ecosystem, we have a genuine chance to keep people well in the place they feel safest – their own homes – while giving our frontline colleagues the breathing room they desperately need.”
