
Dietmar Leitner joins Napp Pharmaceuticals as its new managing director

Dietmar Leitner has been appointed managing director of Napp Pharmaceuticals, part of the Napp Pharmaceutical Group.
Dietmar has worked in the pharma industry for the last 16 years, working as division manager at Abbott before becoming general manager at Mundipharma Gesellschaft in Austria in 2006.
He succeeds Antony Mattessich who left Napp in May 2011 to become regional director of Europe at Mundipharma International.
The Napp Group, which is privately owned, has 30-years’ experience in the field of pain control and a growing expertise in oncology and respiratory medicine, and is based at the Cambridge Science Park in the UK.
Leitner said: “There are significant challenges to be faced, but also opportunities for us to work together for the benefit of patients, and I am looking forward to working with my colleagues here to continue our success.”
