Danielle James and Kate Morrison join Virgo

Virgo Health has expanded its medical education and ethical health teams with two new appointments.

Danielle James (pictured) has been appointed account director and moves to the Richmond, UK-based agency from Chameleon communications.

She has over 18 years’ healthcare experience in both private and public sectors and in her new role will lead the client services team and manage delivery of medical education programmes.

Paul Archer, business unit director for Virgo Health Education said: “Danielle is an important addition to the team at this time of real growth and further enhances the client services team with her mix of scientific and commercial insights, ensuring we continue to deliver exciting and innovative education programmes that stand out from the crowd.”

Virgo has also added Kate Morrison as an account director to its Ethical Health PR team.

Originally from Canada, Kate worked for Fleishman-Hilliard in Toronto where she focused her time leading consumer disease awareness campaigns in respiratory health, chronic pain and oncology.

An interest in social marketing led her to Halifax Nova Scotia, where she worked for a leading interactive agency on several health promotion campaigns.

During her time there, she worked extensively on an anti-smoking campaign targeted at youths and a breastfeeding campaign to encourage breastfeeding in the province.
