Comms agency WCG expands team

WCG has announced a string of appointments whilst also being ranked twelfth among healthcare firms in PRWeek’s UK league tables.

Having a US presence in health comms for several years, WCG London is a new player and the achievements highlight the firm’s presence in the region.

The office has grown from around five people when it was established in May of 2008 to nearly 25 currently, having made several new hires already this year to support new business.

Christine Tadgell joined the WCG London team in May 2012 as managing director, bringing over 19 years of pharma experience in business strategy and operations.

In addition WCG hired creative designer Emanuel Zahariades and three new account associates to support the communications business: Justine Brodie (pictured), who recently graduated from Manchester University; Sarah Horgan, who brings over four years’ experience in the cardiovascular field gained while working for the Irish Heart Foundation; and Valeria Kaplan, who joins from EMBO (European Molecular Biology Organisation).
