ClinTec International has appointed Susan Pavone as associate director of US business operations as part of moves to expand its stateside operations.
Pavone will run ClinTec’s newly established New York office, and joins the Glasgow, UK-based contract research organisation (CRO) from Pfizer, where she ran the drugmaker’s internal CRO operation for eight years.
“Developing an internal CRO for Pfizer, Inc. was much like starting an independent business,” she said. “Indeed, the strategic acquisition of core resources including talent, experience and a wealth of localised clinical research knowledge is key to the success of any business’s goals. However, finding those resources in a timely manner is critical and that’s the real advantage of partnering with ClinTec – as we have all of those resources already in place.”
