
Chiltern announces new chief executive

Contract research organisation Chiltern International has announced a successor to chief executive Glenn Kerkhof, who is stepping down to be replaced by Dr Jim Esinhart.
After 6 years in the post Kerkhof will step down as chief executive on 31 October. He will join Chiltern’s owner Czura Thornton as a partner and will join Chiltern’s Board of directors. Kerkhof will relocate to his native Australia and will lead Czura Thornton’s growth in the Asia Pacific region.
Chiltern also announced the appointment of Esinhart (pictured) as Chiltern’s new chief executive with effect from 1 November. Esinhart is currently Chiltern’s senior executive vice president, Global Scientific Services, and has served with the Company for 6 years.
Esinhart has more than 24 years of industry experience and brings an outstanding track record of scientific excellence, operating performance and service delivery.
