
Cellbox appoints Bernd Muehlenweg as new CBO and CFO

Cellbox Solutions has appointed Bernd Muehlenweg as Chief Business Officer (CBO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Bernd brings over 20 years of international experience to the role, having most recently served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Business Development, Cell Therapy at Evotec.
Bernd said: “The investment round marks an important milestone in expanding our international footprint and establishing Cellbox as a global infrastructure standard for living cell shipment and warm-chain logistics.
“I look forward to further strengthening our commercial operations, expanding our service portfolio, and building the organisational structures required to support the next phase of international growth.”
Cellbox Solutions, founded in 2017, is a Germany-based warm-chain logistics company, specialising in providing solutions for the transport of sensitive biological materials and therapeutics. Cellbox, the company’s portable CO2 incubator platform, creates an adjustable environment for such materials to be transported in reproducible incubation conditions.
