
Carsten Schroeder appointed interim president of Novartis Diagnostics

Schroeder was previously vice president of Novartis Diagnostics for commercial operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He will now take over at the firm’s diagnostics site in Emeryville, California.
Schroeder will replace Peter Maag, who was president and global head of Novartis Diagnostics for two years before leaving the firm last month, until a permanent president is found.
Maag had worked for the Swiss firm in various positions for 10 years, including president of Novartis Germany.
