Clinical trials services firm Biotec Services International is expanding its presence in the US and the UK with three new appointments.
The UK-headquartered company has recruited new business development manager Doug Basinger (pictured) as part of its strategic plan to build its American operation.
With over 20 years of international clinical supply chain management experience, Basinger is tasked with growing Biotec Services’s client base along the West Coast, targeting the biotechnology hubs of California and Seattle, Washington.
The appointment follows Biotec Services’s establishment of a US base earlier this year, which is strategically located in Seattle close to a large number of biotech and pharma companies.
On his appointment, Basinger said: “I’m delighted to be joining an international organisation like Biotec Services to grow its presence in the US market. I look forward to making an immediate contribution to the company’s success using my contacts and experience within the industry to great effect.”
Biotec Services has also appointed two new UK-based business development managers – Deb Williams and Jonathan Lake.
Williams joins the firm from PCI Packaging Coordinators (formerly AndersonBrecon) with over 25 years’ experience in clinical supply chain management. Lake joins from PHT Corporation where he was a Business Development manager for North West Europe.
Keren Winmill, chief executive of Biotec Services, said : “The appointment of Doug, Deb and Jonathan come at an important time as we look to grow our presence across the globe.”
