Clinical trials services firm Biotec Services International is looking to expand its presence in the US with the appointment of a new business development manager.
The UK-headquartered company has recruited Doug Basinger (pictured) as part of a strategic plan to build its American operation. With over 20 years of clinical supply chain management experience, Basinger is tasked with growing Biotec Services’ client base in the country.
Basinger said: “I’m delighted to be joining an international organisation like Biotec Services to grow its presence in the US market. I look forward to making an immediate contribution to the company’s success using my contacts and experience within the industry to great effect.”
In addition to the expansion in the US, the firm has also appointed two new UK-based business development managers – Deb Williams and Jonathan Lake.
Williams joins from PCI Packaging Coordinators (formerly AndersonBrecon) with over 25 years in clinical supply chain management. Lake joins from PHT Corporation where he was a business development manager for North West Europe.
