Axon makes US appointment

Richmond, UK-based comms agency Axon Communications has expanded its stateside operations, appointing Mark Khan as VP of client services and business development.

Mark has over a decade of medical communications experience and joins Axon US from Scientivity, formerly AlphaMedica, where he most recently served as senior director of client services.

Prior to joining Scientivity, Khan spent five years at Fission Communications in New York as a senior director of business development and strategic planning and as a group account supervisor.

“Working closely with multidisciplinary healthcare practitioners has given Mark valuable insight into the pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing industries, which he has used to develop marketing strategies in a variety of therapeutic categories. His broad experience will be extremely valuable to both our current and future clients in the US,” said Mario Nacinovich, managing partner, AXON Communications, New York.
