
Appature appoints new vice president Bob Harrell

Cloud-based software company Appature has appointed Bob Harrell as the company’s new vice president of marketing, healthcare.
Appature, a software-as-a-service (SAAS) provider for life sciences, says Harrell is known in the industry for innovation and leadership in the convergence of life sciences marketing and digital technologies.
“Bob has always had a keen sense of where the industry is heading and how technology can be applied to the commercial aspects of our business,” says Matt Emmens, chairman, Shire. “I’m confident he will bring great value to Appature in his new role.”
Harrell joins Appature from Shire Pharmaceuticals, where he served as director of Integrated Marketing since 2004, working with brands such as Vyvanse, Intuniv, Lialda, and Carbatrol. Prior to joining Shire, Bob worked in Prague, Czech Republic, where he led marketing and operations for an American-owned eBusiness startup.
