
Amgen hires senior VP, general counsel and secretary

Amgen has appointed Jonathan Graham as its senior vice president, general counsel and secretary who will take to his post in July.
Responsible for Amgen’s legal operations Graham will report to Robert Bradway, Amgen’s chairman and chief executive officer, and succeeds David Scott who is retiring in August of this year.
Graham joins the US firm from Danaher Corporation, where he has served as senior VP and general counsel, responsible for all legal, governance, regulatory, risk, and compliance matters.
Previously, Graham was VP, litigation and legal policy at General Electric Company and a partner at Williams & Connolly. He also served as a law clerk to Joseph Sneed, US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Bradway says: “We are excited to have Jon join our team. His proven leadership skills and depth of experience will serve us well as we drive our agenda for growth.”
