Amgen hires head of Europe from Roche

Corinne Le Goff is joining Amgen to be its senior vice president and head of the European region for the US firm.

There she will succeed Chris Van Den Broucke and be responsible for leading its expansion in Europe, reporting in to Anthony Hooper who is the executive VP of commercial operations. 

Le Goff joins Amgen from Roche, where she most recently served as president of the French affiliate since 2012.

Previously, Le Goff spent five years in strategic commercial leadership roles managing therapeutic areas at the firm, where she was senior VP of global product strategy for its neurosciences franchise – and at Merck Serono – where she was senior VP of strategy and global marketing for neurology, rheumatology, and immunology.

Prior to joining Merck Serono, Le Goff was a senior VP within US commercial operations and a member of the operating committee at Sanofi Aventis.

Hooper says: “Corinne brings strong vision and leadership to our European operations based on her broad strategic and operational experience in large healthcare organisations at both the global and affiliate level. I am delighted to welcome her to the team”.
