
Almac appoints US vice president of business development

Contract manufacturing firm Almac has hired Richard Segiel Jr as its vice president of Business Development for the US.
He takes to the firm 23 years of experience in the contract pharmaceutical development sector. In his new role he will focus on developing new business, maintaining existing business, and developing partnerships.
Prior to joining Almac, Segiel Jr held a number of business development and operational positions at Intertek Pharmaceutical Services, MDS Tricon, Celsis Analytical Services, and Pharmakon Research International.
Martin Lamb, global VP of Business Development said: “Richard brings a compelling mix of business development, operational, and financial experience that will further strengthen Almac’s leadership team.”
