Algeta appoints first head of comms and investor relations

Norwegian biotech Algeta has appointed Dr Mike Booth to the newly-created role of senior VP of communications and corporate affairs.
He takes up the post on 17 October and will then be responsible for Algeta’s global corporate communications and investor relations activities, as well as overseeing and expanding the company’s profile in capital markets.
Mike will join Algeta from global life sciences-focused investor relations and strategic advisory firm Trout International in London.
Before joining The Trout Group in 2007, he spent eight years in investment banking and equity research positions focusing on the life sciences and biotech sectors at UBS, Bank of America and Canaccord.
