
Langland hires business unit director

Healthcare advertising agency Langland has appointed Michael Le Brocq as business unit director for its Ethical division.
Also joining the agency’s management team, Le Brocq was previously head of Strategy at ICC Lowe London, and has also held senior pharma marketing roles at Parke-Davis (Pfizer), Novartis and Stiefel – and was commercial director and chief operating officer at Virgin Health Bank – Sir Richard Branson’s first venture into healthcare.
As part of the start-up team at Virgin Health Bank he developed the strategy for the first hybrid public-private stem cell bank in the UK.
Langland chief executive Philip Chin says: “We are delighted that Michael has joined Langland. His significant experience on both client and agency side means that we will be even more focused in our delivery of commercially effective and innovative communication solutions to our clients.”
