Comms and PR global agency FleishmanHillard has appointed Jerry Tolk to be its senior VP, partner and general manager in the US.
Tolk was most recently senior vice president at Edelman’s Atlanta, US operation. He replaces Karen Kaplan at FleishmanHillard who announced her retirement earlier this year after 15 years with the firm.
“We’re excited to have Jerry joining our talented senior team in Atlanta as general manager,” said Jack Modzelewski, FleishmanHillard president of the Americas.
“He has proven management and talent recruitment experience, high-level client relationships, and a business vision that will bring greater opportunities for us in Atlanta.”
Tolk began his agency career in 2000 at Gavin Anderson in New York. He then moved to Euro RSCG in New York to head its human capital practice.
Since 2007 he has been with Edelman, initially at its Zeno Group subsidiary where he was the New York general manager before joining Edelman’s Atlanta office in 2008.
