Recruitment services company RSA has launched a new division to offer specialised consulting services to the pharma and biotech industries.

RSA Consulting will focus on business areas such as strategic planning, re-alignment of business processes, vendor selection and systems implementation.

The new division's close relationship with RSA Recruitment means it has at its disposal a pool of experts from life sciences and healthcare industries, enabling it to offer consultants services which fit specific business requirements of different clients.

RSA managing director Nick Stephens said:  "Our deep relationships with many industry experts over more than 20 years puts us in an ideal position to understand and assist clients in formulating the optimum programme for delivery of their business goals."

RSA Consulting is led by managing partner Ruth Stone, who comes from a consulting background that includes establishing and leading the European practice of US-based First Consulting Group, where she was responsible for designing and implementing global solutions for many pharma companies.

"The launch of RSA Consulting provides a new opportunity for clients in life sciences and healthcare to access consulting services that precisely match their business needs," Stone said.

"Providing the right expertise with each phase of a structured plan is crucial to success. I look forward to working closely with clients to identify the optimum approach to each project and selecting the best industry expertise from our unique network. It's about providing the best expertise and the best methodology at realistic prices."
