Pharma Innovation Award given to Stevanato Group for AI-ready vision Robot Unit

Stevanato Group, a global provider of processes and services for the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare industry, has been announced as a winner of the 2021 Pharma Innovation Award for its AI-ready Vision Robot Unit (VRU) – a robot human-like inspection unit.

The VRU inspection system is an autonomous module, capable of automatically inspecting both cosmetic and particle properties without human intervention. It can be used in a broad range of applications in the pharma development and manufacturing field: including small batches, high value drugs, and cell and gene therapies.

The Pharma Innovation Awards are led by Pharma Manufacturing magazine, and they are a celebration of new technologies and services that help advance product quality, risk reduction, and manufacturing efficiency. They are awarded to companies who listen to the needs of the market and their customers.
