The inaugural issue of Kantar Health’s Global Health and Wellness Update is now available. This is a quarterly newsletter sharing applications and new ways our clients are using information from the National Health and Wellness Survey (NHWS) to improve decision-making.

This quarter’s newsletter features:

  • The Value of Information: With more and more information available at the click of the mouse, how do you determine the appropriateness, meaningfulness and usefulness of the information with respect to its intended use?
  • The Cost of Work Productivity Losses: In addition to the humanistic burden and medical costs associated with a given condition or treatment, measuring indirect costs can yield a more complete picture of the effect of a disease or treatment.
  • The Burden of Depression in China: The prevalence of depression is often thought to be lower in the emerging market of China than in Western countries, but what about those at risk for depression?

Additional information about updates and enhancements to the NHWS is also included.
