Susan Macdonald to head up RSA Singapore

Global life sciences executive search and interim management firm RSA has appointed Susan Macdonald managing director of its Singapore office.

Susan most recently served as the firm’s UK general management practice leader, having joining the business as a consultant in 2005.

In 2006 Susan was promoted to lead the sales and marketing practice and in January 2009 she was seconded to Shanghai to set up the joint venture between RSA and Foster Partners in China, returning to Europe upon its successful completion.

A graduate in nursing studies, Susan spent her early career working as a staff nurse before spending 17 years working in the pharmaceutical industry.

Commenting on her new role, Susan said: “I am truly thrilled to be taking on this position with our talented team in Singapore. I look forward to building upon their success to date and continuing to develop new and innovative recruitment solutions for our clients and candidates in this market.”

Joining Susan and the team in Singapore will be life sciences executive search specialist Virginia Tam. A US graduate with a background in the pharmaceutical and medical sectors, Virginia will take up the role of consultant.
