ClinTec recruits former Wyeth VP

Glasgow, UK-based contract research organisation ClinTec has expanded its US operations with the appointment of new executive vice president Dr Dianne Kikta.

She will be based in the Philadelphia area and brings to ClinTec a wealth of experience from the pharmaceutical industry having worked for Wyeth for over 20 years.

Her most recent role at the company was as vice president of global clinical strategic resourcing, where she was responsible for providing strategic oversight of flexible resourcing to efficiently deliver clinical research services, especially through off-shoring and outsourcing.

Commenting on her new role, Dr Kikta said: “I look forward to contributing to ClinTec’s future success by applying my experience in innovative global resourcing models and various strategic initiatives from Wyeth.

“Having established Wyeth’s highly successful clinical research centre in India through a unique partnership approach, I have a firm understanding of the opportunities within the emerging markets for continued use of unique resourcing models. Working with ClinTec will allow me to use my numerous years of experience in one company to now influence many aspects of the industry.”
