The Pharmaceutical Marketing Society: PriMe Training Programme

The Pharmaceutical marketing Society is a not-for profit organisation providing education, training and networking opportunities to its members.
The Society brings together people engaged in pharmaceutical marketing to develop their knowledge and skills, recognise and enhance their success as both individuals and organisations and encourage the exchange of best practice across all aspects of the pharmaceutical industry.

PriMe is the Societies’ flexible, modular training Programme developed by the industry for the industry that addresses the specific needs of pharmaceutical marketers.


The PriMe Training Programme
Prime was launched by the Pharmaceutical Marketing Society in 2005 as a direct response to its members desire to have access to a modular programme that addressed the specific needs of the pharmaceutical marketer.


PriMe is composed of a series of highly interactive and practical training sessions delivered by practising specialists in key areas of pharmaceutical marketing.


Each of the Modules is designed to provide pharmaceutical marketers within the manufacturing and service sectors of the industry with the opportunity to develop and improve their core marketing competencies, and management and leadership skills that can help them excel and be successful at their job.


The Programme offers a unique blend of training Modules aimed at newly appointed or aspiring marketers and those who interact with operational marketing on a regular basis (e.g. Medical, finance, and regulatory personnel) through to a range of Specialist, Advanced and Leadership Modules addressing topics that impact on the day-to-day job functions of the marketer and their role as a team leader and line manager.


All the Modules are designed to develop and enhance the knowledge and understanding of both new and established marketers and personnel involved with pharmaceutical marketing.
